is looking a lot like this:
stockings hanging nicely.
(i can't wait to make room for one more stocking!)
some of my decor, followed by random nativity scene animals that the littles move all over the place.
i couldn't bare to get rid of my pumpkins just yet...so i used my handy dandy spray paint, and now they are gold.
enjoying the christmas tree in our jammies...or lack there of.
a homemade wreath.
my christmas card holder...thanks to audrey, it actually has a card on it.
some light reading next to the christmas tree.
and of course, a little reminder that my house has more boys than girls in it.
ninja turtles hanging on my christmas tree.
all of these tidbits make me smile :)
how's your christmas decor coming along?
happy weekend ya'll!

what lovely decorations! the last picture made me laugh! :-D
ReplyDeleteLove the ninja turtle ornament! Ha
ReplyDeleteLovely decorations and tree! So much fun decorating for Christmas! :)
Your decorations are so lovely! Especially the Raphael ornament! This year I'm trying my hand at making our stockings...hopefully they'll be done in time!
ReplyDeleteno Christmas decor in the wiltse house. woot woot! i'm such a scrooge. but we leave next week until the end of the year so we wouldn't be able to enjoy them anyway! we'll just have to enjoy the Rockefeller tree in NYC. i love the admiring-of-the-tree-in-the-undies photo. true anderson children form. it's too stinkin' cold to be in our undies here. darn kansas weather.
ReplyDeletelove you,
jenn
too cute! I love that he's reading the book upside down :)
ReplyDeletethat wreath is the cutest. also, you make me laugh.
ReplyDeleteand the word verification is "pants". i think you should share that word with your children.
i'm honored that you gave me a shout out in this post. uhthankyou. i love that hadley just had her underwear on in that picture. it reminds me of how maggie was always naked as a child. i love your family.
ReplyDeletethis totally made my morning :) thanks for the decorating inspiration and a few smiles!
ReplyDeleteLOVE your stockings. I am looking for the "perfect" stockings for my family and can't find any. =(
ReplyDeleteLove that you kept the pumpkins around.
ReplyDeletemy christmas decor is all good to go, but I'm struggling in the "making goodies" part. Usually I'd have made like 6 different chocolates by now. We're talking about chocolate though....so it'll happen! 15 days left :)
ReplyDeletei can not believe how tall your little Kohen looks next to the tree in his diaper! (i think that's him at least!) wow, but then again, my kid's almost 18 months already. what??
ReplyDeleteYOURS, MINE AND OURS
Well, we pulled out the decorations... and put up the tree... but that's about as far as it goes. Our tree is naked. Hoping to actually get it all put together this weekend.
ReplyDeleteLove Kohen's reading style. :)
we here at the irvin house love christmas so much, that our decorations go up the week after halloween! I love all the red birds
ReplyDeletethey are my favorite.
love your wreath, and well everything else too! CUTE
ReplyDeletevery awesome.
ReplyDeletesaggie britches strikes again.
my nativity came animal free but Baby Jesus does some traveling from time to time.
That wreath is sooo stinkin' cute!! I just love reading about your precious family!
ReplyDeleteI just discovered your blog a couple days ago, and I have obsessed over it. Like, it's absurd. I've read all the way back to before Kohen was born. You have the most beautiful family and your blog is so creative and inspiring!!! I have a question;do you have to have kids to do embrace the camera? Because I really love the idea, but our kid is a 40 pound dog :)
ReplyDeleteBlessings!!!
ohhh, I totally want to show my holiday decor now. You should make that an embrace the camera :)
ReplyDeleteI am in love with your little man reading on the couch! The toes!
ReplyDeleteLove your decorations...especially the Ninja Turtle! haha :) Things like that will make fun Christmas memories for the future. The "light reading" comment {with the book upside down} cracked me up!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas! :)
I love this Martha Stewart idea for hanging Christmas cards. I have been meaning to make it everyday but somehow (I have 3 kids under 4) get distracted. Maybe today will be the day.
ReplyDeleteThought you might like to see it (if you haven't already).

ReplyDeleteLove. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the peek inside your home. I love the wreath!
ReplyDeleteNinja Turtles on Christmas trees make me smile too
ReplyDeleteWhat a great post and I love your style! That "light reading" picture is the BEST!!! Your playlist is fabulous (Lucy Schwartz, Florence and the Machine and Coldplay - love it); I'll have to check out the ones I don't know! You'll have to check out Brett Dennen if you don't know him already...great stuff!
ReplyDeleteLove that cute wreath!!! Saw where you are adopting...congrats! Our oldest is adopted from Ukraine...definitely a huge blessing!!!
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to let you know that I saw your Christmas card holder on Pinterest & was inspired to make my own for about $7.50. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteDid you make your cardholder? If so, could you please tell me how and if not where you bought it?this is absolutely perfect!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the Christmas card display. I'm going to feature it on my blog Friday with a link back to you.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
