How super sweet! I love the second video too. Shows the reality of motherhood. haha Happy Mother's Day to a wonderful mom!! (just found your blog and am totally inspired by you.)
This is great! I especially love the second video. ;) Reminds me of my brothers and I when we were younger. We look back at videos like that now and roll laughing.
I love the original take! Now that's how it would go down at our house! I also love how the Mr. learned from the first take, and did the kids individually in the second take! It's so sweet!
those videos made me want to laugh and weep at the same time. laugh at your sorrow and weep at the sorrow that is surely mine as i keep bearing more children. mazzle mazzle.
Hi Emily. I've been a silent reader until now. I've been following your blog for a few months now and your family is adorable.
It's been a rainy day here today and I noticed you haven't updated your banner at the top of your blog. I know you've been really busy and most likely haven't had time so I decided to make you one. It won't hurt my feelings if you don't use it, I had fun making it!

I used the pattern from Hadley and Kohens bedroom to fill the font. : )
Ha! LOVE that you caught all of that sibling love on camera. My family still gets a kick out of watching the home video where my brother ruthlessly shoves snow into the face of the toddler version of myself.
OMG the second video! Both boys screaming, Hadley tucking her hair behind her ear and totally flirting with the camera! They are so sweet and obviously love you so much!
OMG I AM DYINGGGGGGGGG The boys are fighting and screaming and Hadley is just smiling and posing and putting her hair behind her ears LOLOLOLOL seriously hilarious. DADDY STOP IT.
{btw, why do they miss you?! :( we miss you too! hope you are okay!}
They are SO cute! And Elsa.... adorable. She seems to adjusting so well! You are an amazing mother, I love lurking (and now commenting, hehe) your blog. You inspire me to adopt... I'm already warming up the Mr to the idea! Hope you had a Happy Mother's Day! You deserve one!!! If you have time (and aren't too busy puking... =( ) link up and create a Monday Memory post on your blog with my new blog hop. http://modernmomredefined.blogspot.com/2011/05/memory-mondays-59.html
love this window into your world. makes me miss you all the more. one month until we can see you. i can't wait to get all of the kids together and see how they interact. there will probably be plenty more busted lips...and that's okay. happy mother's day!
This totally reminds me of when I was a kid - I would have been Caedman trying to make it perfect then punishing Derrick (Milo) for not listening to me. The only difference is that I would have viciously retaliated for the cookie dough canister in the face, but Caedman was a good boy and walked away. :0)
silent reader until now... seriously the second video...Hadley primping for the camera = Priceless! That girl is hilarious! I hope you had a wonderful mothers day (how could you not with videos like that to watch!)
KUDOS to you, Anderson family. I found your blog thanks to Mrs. Loerke and your guest post (and have also been a silent reader till that video brought me out of the woodworks). You guys are AWESOME. I totally needed that laugh today. Keep on being real, and posting about it, and posting what real life is. THAT'S why you ROCK. And I have kept your new little surprise nugget in my prayers since reading about it. Sending prayers your way, always, Erica out in California.
sesriously the most realistic video i hav eever seen. i LOVE it. the birth order! the care taker! the screaming! the throwing! the daddy still filming.
i would've kept filming too! because really at that point it can only get more interesting. there were either going to work it out and sing or do what they did. i LOVE it.
thank you for your comments! i read each and every one of them, and they make my day (well, the nice ones anyways). please check back here for answers to your questions, and also feel free to engage with my other readers. we can all support and encourage one another. we all have something to offer. thanks friends!

SO cute! Loved both of them, you have some pretty awesome kids there (even if the result of a cute video for Mom is a busted lip!) x
ReplyDeleteI love how the girls are just going on like nothing is happening...only when there is blood does Hadley acknowledge the shenanigans!
ReplyDeleteIt's the thought that counts :0). And double-points for Mr. Anderson to change the plan as opposed to doing a re-take ;).
ReplyDeleteHappy Mother's Day Emily!!

ReplyDeleteI wonder how many people who just saw that second video suddenly feel understood. Awesome.
