  6. I love the original take! Now that's how it would go down at our house!
I also love how the Mr. learned from the first take, and did the kids individually in the second take! It's so sweet!

  8. Hi Emily.
I've been a silent reader until now.
I've been following your blog for a few months now and your family is adorable.

It's been a rainy day here today and I noticed you haven't updated your banner at the top of your blog. I know you've been really busy and most likely haven't had time so I decided to make you one. It won't hurt my feelings if you don't use it, I had fun making it!

I used the pattern from Hadley and Kohens bedroom to fill the font. : )

  10. Ha! LOVE that you caught all of that sibling love on camera. My family still gets a kick out of watching the home video where my brother ruthlessly shoves snow into the face of the toddler version of myself.

  17. SO cute! Loved both of them, you have some pretty awesome kids there (even if the result of a cute video for Mom is a busted lip!) x

  18. I love how the girls are just going on like nothing is happening...only when there is blood does Hadley acknowledge the shenanigans!

  19. It's the thought that counts :0). And double-points for Mr. Anderson to change the plan as opposed to doing a re-take ;).

    Happy Mother's Day Emily!!

  25. I wonder how many people who just saw that second video suddenly feel understood. Awesome.

  26. This totally reminds me of when I was a kid - I would have been Caedman trying to make it perfect then punishing Derrick (Milo) for not listening to me. The only difference is that I would have viciously retaliated for the cookie dough canister in the face, but Caedman was a good boy and walked away. :0)

    Happy Mother's Day!

  28. KUDOS to you, Anderson family. I found your blog thanks to Mrs. Loerke and your guest post (and have also been a silent reader till that video brought me out of the woodworks). You guys are AWESOME. I totally needed that laugh today. Keep on being real, and posting about it, and posting what real life is. THAT'S why you ROCK. And I have kept your new little surprise nugget in my prayers since reading about it. Sending prayers your way, always,
    Erica out in California.

  31. sesriously the most realistic video i hav eever seen.
    i LOVE it.
    the birth order!
    the care taker!
    the screaming!
    the throwing!
    the daddy still filming.

i would've kept filming too! because really at that point it can only get more interesting. there were either going to work it out and sing or do what they did.
    i LOVE it.
