in light of how i've been feeling lately, i thought it would be a good time to finally make our "journey to elsa" video...a little moment of our time while waiting for her...and then after, when she's home.
it did my heart good to remember the pictures and moments of when we were so excited for her to come home.
enjoy.

ReplyDeleteFinally sat down to watch this and I'm left with buckets of happy tears on my face! Love this so!
ReplyDeleteEmily, you and your family are nothing short of amazing. My husband grew up with 2 biological siblings and 2 younger adopted siblings from India. Recently while celebrating my in-laws turning 60, we all shared notes of appreciation about them. My husband's note thanked his parents for blessing their family with his adopted siblings because it opened up a whole new world for he and his biological siblings. Not only were they given the opportunity to love their younger brother and sister, but they were taught a greater appreciation about the rest of the world. You give Elsa an amazing family to be a part of, but you have also provided your other children with a world that they may have never known otherwise. I really admire you!
ReplyDeletesobbing. this story has left me unapologetically sobbing through the whole video. Beautiful, the whole thing.
