lately, my butt has really been kicked into organization gear.
i really do love it---and i seem to have a system for everything these days.
i kept having this overwhelming thought of "6 kids...6 kids...6 kids" and i would feel totally unorganized.
y'all know i color coded my kids...brilliant, yes i know.
well, my latest system love is my planner.
last year, i bought just a cute binder at target and some planner sheets that came separately.
they did the job, but i never felt like i had enough room, etc.
after looking and looking and looking around for a planner that would fit my needs, i finally just gave in and created something in photoshop.
i didn't need a lot...just a BIG space for everyday, so that i could write nicely and clearly for each kid and anything they had going on that day...not to mention mr. anderson and i.
{my binder...next time i might get a trapper keeper. what? do they still sell those?}
my daily planner i write in.
it's perfect...i seriously love all the room i have to write.
i get this excited feeling when there is something new to write in it...is that weird?
i'm sure it is but whatev. just let me be OCD.
and the best part?
i found these awesome pens that have all my kids colors...so, each kid's "stuff" for the day is written in their color.
hallelujah, organization to the MAX, thank you jesus.
so, being the nice person i am, i have these sheets available for you to download if you'd like.
you should (and i say should because i've never done this before) be able to click on the pictures below and they will pop up bigger in a new window.
then you can right click and save that picture and then open it up in a new document (microsoft, or whatev).
then print it.
fingers crossed that works for you---if not, don't leave me any hate mail.
a few things:
-i printed mine on white cardstock so that i could use color pens and it wouldn't bleed through-
-i printed front and back-
my notebook not only stashes away my planner but it's basically our anderson family book.
it has blog info in it...meal plans...grocery lists...school info...etc.
basically, if i ever lost this little book i might crawl into a ball and die.
shudder.
enjoy the downloads---and if they don't work, i'll try to fix it up later this afternoon.

yay! i've been looking for daily planner sheets for my binder! i'm a nut when it comes to organizing and planner. aaaaand i like paper. i just like to see it all in front of me in one glance! cuh-ute! thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteI too love to write in a fresh new planner! I like everything to be in one person's handwriting...mine. OCD maybe but I am okay with it. Enjoy your new found organization. I am taking some tips with my 5 little ones.
ReplyDeleteI'm the opposite of OCD...thus the reason why I would need these planner sheets.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad someone shares my OCD tendencies. I thought I was all alone.
ReplyDeletelove those stabilo pens!!! i fell in love with them in germany and there's seriously no replacement. enjoy your organization and ocd, emily. at least it's cute and color-coded. ;)
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this! I have been looking for a great organizer!
ReplyDeleteoh. my. this is just what i've been scouring the whole world for. thank you, from the bottom of my heart! i love you. in a non-weird blogger sorta way.
ReplyDeletethanks for sharing! <3
ReplyDeleteI hardly ever comment..but I needed to say thank you for the freebie download!! I love to organise - and anything that helps me organise our lives is fabtabuloso!! I love the colour codedness too - never thought of adding that to a planner! I only have 2 girls..Avie's colour is pink and Lily's is purple..so i will be popping out to buy pretty pink and purple colour pens asap! This has come at a great time - i'm getting my organisation butt in gear now that the crazyness of summer hols is drawing to an end and my eldest starts school in a week! Gulp.. Love it, thanks! I'm not sure it will help with 6 kiddies..but thought i would return the inspiration.. when clearing through the mass of toys, books etc that get trailed through our house everyday - i put those belonging to each child in a colour coded trug (bucket/basket thingy) - that way i know which bedroom they belong to! x
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I'm not the only one who loves my planner. I also get equally excited when I can write something in it...and even more excited to check it off. I love that you have different colors for each kid. That's very cool.
ReplyDeleteI am not a planner type of girl. I am the type of girl you Melancholy's hate. You know, the girl who never knows what she is doing and just shrugs it off? lol yep, that would be me. I should probably start, though. It's kind of embarrassing when you forget about important meetings and miss Doctor's appointments. Makes me look like a bad Mom LOL
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday :)
Thanks for the download! I'm a little in awe at your organization skills. I need a lot more organization in my life and this should help.
ReplyDeleteI am TOTALLY a planner-girl. I usually cave and by one at Barnes & Noble each year - because like you, I write everything down in there and need good space... And we don't even have wee ones yet!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the planner pages download! :)
thanks for sharing em!
ReplyDeleteokay ... i need to get a lil' mOre organized after this post .. you inspired me!
ReplyDeleteWell, look achoo. I need to get on the 6 kids wagon so I can use 6 different colors in my planner.
ReplyDeleteLOL you do have some OCD. But I love for it. Hey look I read your blog and commented, miracles happen!!!
ReplyDeleteSMOOCHES.
i have some daily 6am-10pm sheets i will forward you. i had james blow them up to almost poster size and we have one for ev week. i'll blog them later when we are in full swing. btw, i am angry i didn't win the giveaway...again. we po' folks & we need a giveaway!
ReplyDeleteLove this! You know me and my undying love of organization. I'm honestly a little envious that you have so much to coordinate and organize... Seriously, our weekly schedule for the fall consists of 3 things: bible study, preschool & soccer - the latter 2 activities for the same kid. Don't really need a whole planner for that, dang it. ;) But if I ever do I know where to find awesome calendar sheets. :) And totally digging the color coordination, I get excited over stuff like that.
ReplyDeleteOk... you are one AMAZING momma!! I can't imagine being so organized as you are with 6 kids. But I hope I will be able to be that organized when I have more children {and I plan on having 4 or 5} so I hope I can get that organized. I will definitely be coming to your blog & looking for inspiration! :)
ReplyDeletethat's great emily!!! i always wanted to make my own planners too, but it never worked. i finally found a good one and i'm on my 2nd one!!
ReplyDeletewhat a great idea! I always have the same problem with finding planners systems that work for me... thanks for the share!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you soo much! I will def be using them :)
ReplyDeleteYou just completed my life..THANK YOU! This is amazing!
ReplyDeleteThis is so awesome! Normally I buy a mucho expensive planner, but I am loving this format! Thanks for sharing! Filed at thecraftersfilebox.com.
ReplyDeleteum, i'm obsessed with calendars & planners. my favorite thing is to go through them when i first get them and write in all the birthdays. i usually have at least 2 going at the same time. we're in this weirdness together.
ReplyDeletewhat good is a planner when you forget to look at it?! that's me.
ReplyDeleteand my word verification was "tards"
bahahahaha!
ReplyDeleteTrapper Keeper--I SO remember!
thank you forever and a day for your organizational skills my friend, i have bookmarked this page and will get a binder and some cardstock and rock this out. lord knows my family and i need it, (instead of tiny msgs on tiny squares on a basic calendar stuck to the fridge) hahaha! hope all is going well with your pregnancy so far, prayers are always going your way from me. :)

Thanks for the help! I don't know how you do it-- all this wonderful organization with all the littles you have- go girl!
ReplyDeleteOk! First AWESOME! We had a couple years of crazy life but have been feeing the need to get back to "normal" life! So 2 Q's, first what font did you use? And second would you mind sharing what else you put in your binder to keep your family working? I am just needing a little extra brain power on the subject!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
LOVE your planner!! I've been shopping for one since they came out.. I just cannot see paying the money for something I can do on my computer & smartphone.. so I scribble notes to myself in a cheap composition notebook... because I just can't help myself.
ReplyDeletei'm a new follower to your stinkin adorable blog. :) in love with this idea! :)
ReplyDeleteHey! Love the planner!
ReplyDeleteOne question though - whats the size of the pages that you printed the images on? And how big is your planner?
I was hoping to have something that fits in my bag.
Would really appreciate it if you could answer those queries!
Thanks!

gayatri,
ReplyDeletemy notebook is just a standard sized 8.5x11 notebook. and same with the cardstock.
you could print them as big or small as you'd like though.
hope that helps!
i tried printing out your calendar, but mine is printing alot more narrow. i like the way your calendar looks in the picture with the boxes wide & using up the page. could you send me the doc via email @ tx1005@yahoo.com ? i just want it to look like yours.:-(
ReplyDeleteThis is perfect. I have been looking for the "right" planner since December, but just couldn't find the size, space, design I wanted.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!
I was so happy to see those pens! Lol..weird me..but those are Stabilos we use in rendering in college. I am an architecture student and badly in need of planning out my time for all the work load.
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot for the printable! :)
