dads are the best.
i am lucky to have a great dad.
{one that looks like andy from the office, i might add}
{my dad and i, this summer---he is probably giving me some great advice on how to raise 6 children. or he's pointing to a bird in the sky. whatever}
he is the type of dad that still calls me kiddo, even though i have 6 "kiddos" of my own now.
he calls a couple times a week to check in on things.
even though we live 20 hours away from each other, i get to see him a lot, so it doesn't quite feel like we are that far from each other.
and to top it all off, he is the best grandpa to my kids.
like seriously. he sets the bar high for all other grandpas.
i love him.

my girls are also lucky to have a great dad.
one that paints their nails, wrestles with them, does their hair, amongst many other things.
i love that they will grow up knowing how much their daddy loves them.
this weekend was the father/daughter dance at our church.
the girls got all decked out:

and off they went, to dance the night away.
{olive was once again, busy pooping her pants. so, she stayed home}
mr. anderson is a good sport to go...he is pretty much bossed around by the girls the whole time.
"daddy, dance with me"
"daddy, you're dancing wrong"
"daddy, watch me"
"daddy, stop singing"
"daddy, stand here"
etc.
the girls love to be bossy.
mr. anderson takes it like a champ and helps make the night memorable for the girls.
they are so lucky to have him.
