i learned this weekend that trying to take a picture of all 6 of my children...is nearly impossible.
well i take that back. i can get a picture of all 6 of them, but actually looking at the camera, all at once?
not happening.
please enjoy pictures of my 6 children
(well, 7 children if you include elsa's fro. i mean seriously, it's that big these days.)
i 'spose this is my life now.
me, jumping up and down like a crazy woman, trying to get olive to look up.
she was more interested in the blanket, or something.
when she finally does look up, someone else is making a totally awesome face...or covering their face.
and then there is my oldest son who slightly resembles nanny mcphee these days because he won't pull out his dang snaggletooth. i mean, i'm gonna get it while he's sleeping one of these days.
so, i guess until they are a little older, this is as good as it gets, picture wise.
at least they're still cute.

all so adorable!!!
ReplyDeleteEven if you might not think the pictures are perfect, they are pretty darn cute! And I was just thinking your oldest looked like he was about to lose a tooth.
ReplyDeleteOh, I feel your pain. Trying to get a picture of all of us at the strawberry farm this weekend was hilarious!!! One day they will all look up...but then my grand kids will be looking away:)
ReplyDeleteYou got some beautiful natural shots. I have trouble getting pictures of two kids. I can't imagine trying with six :o)
ReplyDeleteI feel this way taking a picture of just my two let alone a family picture! It is hard to get a good one of everyone looking in the general direction of the camera and smiling too? That is too much to ask. Ha!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.
Shoot, it's real life! Those are the best! Because if all your children were looking perfectly, we would think something was wrong with them ;)
ReplyDeleteYour photos look great.. even if not everyone is looking at the camera! Looks like they were having too much fun to stop for pictures! :)
ReplyDeleteoh em geeeee, they are so cute! Girl, you are doing good! Keeping them all on the bed at the same time seems like wonder woman to me!
ReplyDeleteMy boys are anxiously waiting to lose a tooth. They watched a video on YouTube of a boy pulling his tooth out by tying to a nerf dart and then shooting it across the room. Before that we went so far as to promise the older brother $5 if he pulled out younger brothers tooth, which already had a dental floss lasso tied around it. Younger brother hid in the bathroom until he finally got the courage to pull it himself. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI HATED pulling out my teeth! It always ended up with me screaming and crying while my parents pulled it out (and it never even hurt! HAHA)
ReplyDeleteYour kids are SO dang adorable! :)
I *love* these pictures. They describe your childrens personalities perfectly. And I love Elsa's fro! Beautiful! :)
ReplyDeleteOh, and also... I love how Elsa is looking in EVERY shot. She knows how to cooperate with a camera! ;)
ReplyDeleteThey're still adorably cute photos! And great memories of this stage of life! :)
ReplyDeleteThey are absolutely precious! :)

ReplyDeleteLove these!!
ReplyDeletevery cute, I am sure you will love these photos as they get older.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like such an intriguing challenge - to get all 6 kids to look at the camera for a picture! Every picture is adorable though, regardless of who is looking!! So darn cute!! xoxo
ReplyDeleteNanny McFee hahahaha
ReplyDeleteWhen we take group photos of all the grandkids we love the outtakes the best. I think the one where Olive is looking up is the best except for someone's head, hah. Love the tummy pictures. Next time use a plain white blanket, hah. They are all so cute. You are so blessed.
ReplyDeletewell they certainly ARE cute! every last one of them! love Milo's hair long by the way, super cute! and Kohen's too! and ELsa's fro is awesome!!!! I was wondering which of the kids elsa is bonded with the most? is it milo since they are the same age ? or hadley because they are both girls? adorable kiddos!

ReplyDeletei love these photos! that quilt is awesome! hilarious about nanny mcphee!!!
ReplyDeleteSo close in one of them! You do have some seriously adorable children though! :D
ReplyDeletei can't stop laughing at the FRO comment.
ReplyDeleteGood work. I get frustrated with my two girls! And I give the prize of being helpful in making it happen to Elsa and Milo! Looking at the camera with smiles in place. Well done.
ReplyDeleteI love these! I've resorted to putting a stuffed animal on my head so they all look at me when I take photos, it works!
ReplyDeleteI love your blog...and these pics! Elsa's 'fro is the bomb (I secretly, truly wish I had one myself). Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeletebeautiful kids :)
ReplyDeleteI love these photos. Sometimes I like the candid ones better than the ones that aren't put together and perfect:)
ReplyDeletethis is too precious. love!
ReplyDeleteCan I just say it is SHOCKING how fast your kids' hair grows??!! I'm always sad when they get it all chopped off but then 2 posts later its back! No wonder you cut it all off every now and then! So adorable.
ReplyDeleteComing from a mom who's oldest son didn't get his first haircut until he was 2 1/2!!
Beautiful family!
ReplyDeleteYour family and the family antics you share on the blog make me so happy and I often find myself laughing out loud. You kinda inspire me to have a big loving family of my own. We just started with our own Olive-lookin', half asian lil dude. I know you sometimes share the grief you get about having a big family... I hope you know that some of us out here are beyond impressed (the messes and all) and happy to know that someone out there is raising great little people.
