embrace the camera: 10/4/12

have you read this?
it's a great article, and perfectly describes why i embrace the camera every week.

this week i'm joining kohen in front of the lens.
sometimes i think he looks like me---then sometimes, not so much.

getting in photos is important--don't let another day pass without documenting yourself with your family.
new here?
every thursday we embrace the camera.
my link tool isn't working right now, but please feel free to still join and post a link in my comments!

  3. He is absolutely adorable. The last pic is too cute. I recently lost about 7 years of pics on a crashed hard drive so I am working extra hard to make up for it. Thanks for giving me a place to share.

  21. Emily~Your posts are always beautiful and inspiring! I definitely enjoy keeping up with your blog. Thank you so much for posting the link to the article by Allison Tate. I am a mother of three and I have always struggled pretty severely with negative feelings and beliefs about myself. I realized last summer that I had not taken very many pictures of myself for a long time simply because of my untrue views about myself & life. I am VERY happy to say - I have experienced awesome growth and miracles in my life since then. I have become a different woman... I am experiencing healing and peace... learning to love myself the way my Creator loves me and finding my true beauty and value! I have been blogging about my journey and it is such an amazing experience for me. My children are still little (2, 4, 6) and I am purposefully going to document my love for them and my presence in their childhood lives. Thank you for making me cry and inspiring me to be brave - to make my moments as a mother and woman matter and be remembered! Well Done!
    Love from,

  29. I LOVE your photos, and I loved the article!! :) Thanks for sharing and for this weekly link-up!! I actually look forward to this post each week and try to capture our silly and special moments together!! I often really dislike my own pictures. All I see are the wrinkles and tired eyes, but when my girls are beside me in a picture, I focus on them and the happiness we have together. That's pretty awesome!! Thanks again for encouraging us all to "embrace the camera"! Have a blessed day!!
