olive did not cooperate for this months "photo shoot".
i had to give her that pumpkin, to keep her occupied, but that first shot was as good as it gets for 10 months old.

and she made sure to let me know how sad she was when i had to take the pumpkin away:
so, 10 months old.
i'm blown away that she is about to be a year old. this year has been a really hard adjustment for us all, but it has seemed to go fast.
at 10 months old, she has been on the verge of walking for about 2 months...but has yet to actually do it. she'll take a step here or there, but is still very wobbly. jello legs :)
i have a feeling it'll happen in the next few weeks...but maybe not. she prefers to crawl and eat everything off the floor. lovely.
She reminds me so much of Hadley in the first one! So beautiful
ReplyDeleteI love love love that you are taking pictures on the same background for every month! I work with 6-12 month olds at a daycare and by the time they're ready to move up to the next class, I can hardly remember what they used to look like when they started my class. It's crazy how much they grow in six months, much less one year. I totally want to do this with my kids!

they grow SO fast, i can hardly stand it!
i feel like you were just chatting with us about being so uncomfortably preggo, and now she is practically off to college(ok, maybe not). God wasn't kidding when He said our lives are a vapor.
Olive is just the cutest, most adorable baby! what a blessing you have in all of your children.
i hope this next year brings to to a calmer and more settled place.

My little guy just turned 10 months too and is in the exact same position with walking too. I've been thinking he'll start at any moment but I've been thinking that for awhile so... I'm in no hurry! He'll take a few steps now and then but then will plop down and crawl wherever he was going instead. That walking business is just too slow right now! I keep telling him it will be faster in the long run for him to walk but for some reason he doesn't listen to me... Hm. I see a trend starting here!
ReplyDeleteadorable. my lil man will be nine months this month and it has flown by. having other kids in the house does that, i think. saw your pics on ig and hoping ya'll have warmed up a little since the fair...lol!

ReplyDeleteYour little olive is like the cutest thing ever -- my daughter Promise is just 1 month older then she is and it's so funny to see the same faces Promise makes on your daughter. Wish I had done the once a month photo thing. I gave that up around month 2...:p
