kohen has been replaced with a monkey.
a monkey with a banana hanging out of his pocket, which looks rather inappropriate if i might say so.
but, i'll keep my dirty thoughts to myself.

we found this costume on clearance, the day after halloween.
it was the best $5 ever spent---brother has not taken it off since, except to sleep (but we have to convince him to take it off even then) and to bathe.
it involuntarily came off of him last night, when he decided that rolling around in the grass would be fun.
not so fun when you roll around in an ant pile.
ants filled his monkey suit and bites are now covering his body.
we had to call 911 because he had an allergic reaction to the bites!
it was scary---but the paramedics are amazing. so friendly and nice.
we had 9 grown men standing in our living room, making sure kohen was good...and there kohen was. laying on the couch in nothing but a diaper.
he was a trooper.
after some benadryl, brother ended up being okay.
he went to bed last night, asking about his monkey suit...and woke up this morning, asking about it again.
it's in the process of being washed...which didn't make him to happy.
he actually had to wear normal clothes to our mothers group this morning.
oh, the horror.

ReplyDeleteoh no!!! my oldest is allergic to ant bites too. no fun! she gets just one bite and it swells MASSIVE. she has a special cream to help prevent massive swelling if she does get bitten. and dang, he is so cute. we have pretty much that same "inappropriate banana" monkey costume too:) my 2 month old wore it this year.

ReplyDeleteSo stinkin precious! My one year old's Halloween costume almost had a major inapropro moment, when my husband put the sock monkey costume on backwards... um honey... that's a tail not a man part. Nice try though!

ReplyDeletethe ant bites are terrible, but the rest is great! my kids get into phases like that. my four year old MUST have on shoes at all times. crazy. glad he is okay.
