it's friday.

we've had the flu circulating through our house this week and last, which is always amazing.
it finally hit me, which was bound to happen sooner or later...but didn't the flu get the memo that moms can't be sick?
we don't get sick days, which is unfortunate and slightly unfair.
i'm about to go on strike.

moving on...random.org drew a winner for our flourish giveaway.
KK and i wish we could give a ticket to each and every one of you.  really we do.
it's our desire for women to feel refreshed and connected...not just to each other, but also god.
we will be having 2 more retreats this year...so you're not out of luck if you can't make it this time around.
 coey, you're our winner!
email me and let's get all the details figured out.
---

and finally, i leave you with some of our instagram photos from the past few weeks.
some of these may have already been posted here on this blog---blame it on the flu.
if you'd like to follow us on IG, we are @theandersoncrew

  5. It makes me so happy that the blanket I made her is her favorite. Just so happy!!! So sorry the flu hit ya'll. Last Christmas a horrible stomach virus hit our family and put one of my kiddos in the hospital for four days. Not a fan of viruses, not a fan at all. Sending you healing thoughts and prayers. :)

  11. Love the pictures. My office is currently passing everything around. I hope I don’t get it. (we have both strep and the flu going around, along with a stomach thing…there is only 6 of us who work here…)I looked back a few days at all those who commented for the giveaway and clicked on a few blogs of those who entered. I suddenly felt guilty for entering, so many women seemed to (for lack of better words) need it, deserve it, more than me. I'm so happy Coey won, as I read through her blog; I just felt the need for her to go. I just had to share that. She is the perfect pick :)

  12. LOVE the old lady with the shawl pic. The missing tooth comment made me laugh right out! And I can't believe those caged animals didn't get into those perfectly inviting piles of folded clothes. PS Sorry I didn't text back, but I got you down for my blog. The privite thing goes back to the snarkies. Have never felt free to be myself since then. Hoping this will get me blogging again more often.

  19. That picture at the KU game is eerily similar to one I just posted. My hubby and our oldest son where at the game Sunday, January 6 in nearly that same area. Is that the game you were at too? Rock chalk!

  20. So many thoughts in my brain right now- all that laundry! I will never complain about my laundry for 3 kids again. Never. Ok, that's probably not true. Superhero sisters? Too adorable. As is sailor baby. And baby Jesus taking down the toilet paper roll! hahaha! And lastly, why do kids love to play like they're orphans? Mine always do this too!
