snow day.

we woke up tuesday morning with snow on the ground!
who knew that our first winter in texas would be such a snowy one.

olive enjoyed this for about 5 seconds.

we have obviously spent the last 5 winters in florida, because our bones aren't used to this cold yet.
i LOVE the snow...but just hate the cold.

  24. I'm dying over the puffy coat! Where can I find one in my size?! Seriously...where did you find that?! cuteness to the max. :) it snowed here too in Alabama and they loved throwing snow balls at each other, but Meme wanted to come in when her hands got cold. ;)

  25. That is so cute! I am totally not being sarcastic, but do you not purchase "snow pants" for the kiddos? In Michigan it is a must at recess--try rolling up a pair of those into the backpack along with lunch, folders, laptop, etc. If you don't get a ton of snow, I get it, but it's so cute seeing little toddlers all bundled up in the snow with hat, snow pants, coat, mittens, boots, and a neck warmer. For the first few years they cannot even walk around real well. I usually pulled them around in a toddler sled because they couldn't walk well in the snow while wearing all of the heavy thick, puffy gear.

    1. we don't get near enough snow, or cold enough weather for that matter to warrant a purchase of snow pants!
